Bridging strategy, systems, and human change.
Helping leaders and organizations transform not just how they operate, but how they think and lead — for over 15 years across Fortune 500s, nonprofits, and growing organizations.
As Principal Specialist in Leadership & Change, I partner with commercial teams to integrate leadership and change advisory into large-scale client engagements across industries.
My coaching practice, working directly with founders, executives, and leadership teams to build adaptive capacity, cultural alignment, and scalable leadership from the inside out.
"An organization cannot transcend the capabilities of its members."
I've always been fascinated by human potential — from my time in Talmudical seminary, to studying organizational psychology at Columbia, to sitting with executives at some of the world's largest organizations. The through-line has always been the same: how do people grow, and how do the systems around them help or hinder that?
I focus on both the fish and the fish tank — the humans in the system, the system shaping the humans, and the dynamic relationship between them. I hold an interdisciplinary doctorate in Organizational Psychology and Adult Learning & Leadership from Columbia University, and have spent 15 years working with everyone from school principals to Fortune 500 leadership teams.
Outside of work I'm hiking, raising two wonderfully curious children, and living in Pomona, NY with my wife Riki.
Occasional writing on leadership, organizational design, and the intersection of human development and systems change.
Interdisciplinary research on the learning and development required to succeed in self-managing organizations, published through Columbia University, 2023.
Talks on adaptive organizations, leadership in complexity, and the mindsets that drive lasting change.
I began my career helping schools break free of the Prussian-industrial educational design. I also served as a board member of Lamplighters Yeshiva and as a lecturer at Prizmah's Educational Leadership program.
Technology can be a powerful coaching tool. Building on the work of my mentor Barry Jentz, I co-developed a methodology that uses video-feedback to accelerate leadership development and learning. I also offer TalkSense™ seminars.
An ordained rabbi and Jewish educator with nearly twenty years of experience, I bring classical Jewish sources — Talmud, Midrash, Chasidic thought, Kabbalah — into active dialogue with contemporary questions of meaning, identity, and leadership.
